I demand a reroll!

For our next Roleplay Drama we are doing Savage Worlds Conan. In honor of that, we are conducting a contest. We are asking the community to create the characters for us to play on mic. Now, we know what you are thinking… “You lazy bastards! You don’t even want to make your own characters for your own game.”

Well, that may have some truth to it but there are prizes available for the creators of characters we choose.

Now we realize that not everyone is intimately familiar with the Savage Worlds system, but that is okay. We are more interested in character concepts than fully created characters (though fully created characters will not be turned down: Veteran 40xp characters will be used in the production).

Official Rules:

Prizes-
5 Prize Winners will receive: A copy of the Savage Worlds Deluxe: Explorer’s Edition book.

1 Grand Prize Winner will receive: Muchkin Conan box, a copy of the Savage Worlds Deluxe: Explorer’s Edition book and an exclusive Gamerstable T-Shirt.

Entries -
6 Characters in total will be chosen by the cast. They will be a good mix of archetypes.

Only one or two barbarians-types will be chosen. Human races only and of Hyborian Age origin (i.e. Cimmerian, Aquilonian, Stygian)

1 Character has to be a female (Shannon doesn’t want to be a man)

Only solid character concepts will be chosen. That means that names, backgrounds, character motivations and personalities are very important. That is not to say that quirky characters will not be considered or chosen (Hey… It is us), but silly or ridiculous submissions will not.

Fully game-developed characters are not necessary.

Only 3 character submissions per person will be accepted.

The Grand Prize winner will be chosen for its completeness, creativity and usability.

Contest Dates -
Entries will be accepted from 12/13/12 through 2/3/13.

Winners will be announced 2/12/13
