Great episode, beautiful dice bags! Definitely know what to drop hints to my wife about for my birthday this year.

Personally my list of essential game gear is as follows: dice, mechanical pencil, a leather portfolio folder (inside is the character sheet and a pad of paper for notes), and something to drink.

One of the guys I game with never ever brings a pencil and always wants to mooch one off me!

If I’m going somewhere to game, I only take whatever books I need. If I only need the player’s handbook, that’s all I take, so I usually only have 2 books with me, because quite often, I don’t play core classes.

Man, It was almost strange to hear the idea of the castle built for gaming. I had the same lottery pipe-dream, a foundation dedicated to Roleplaying Games.

My equipment has always been a bit much I admit. As a player, I usually take the books clipboard and sheets for my character. As a DM… I go overboard. I particularly love making these bio handout things all nice with coversheets for my players whenever we start a game. I toss in whatever props or trinkets I can.

Its like party favors. Fun stuff, very bulky.
