Maps – Ep38

by Donato Giancola

Like the red-headed stepchild, maps are usually underappreciated and overlooked by gamers. We were apprehensive (at first) about the subject carrying an entire show, but once we dug into it we realized how much maps influence and enhance the gaming experience.

A map can be the difference between a good gaming experience and a great one.

More favorite maps anyone, as we have played little to no hard sci-fi i’m sure there have got to be some good space “Charts” out there.

Ahhh new intro. Much better than the old one.
And great to hear a Discworld reference. For a very long time Terry Pratchett didn’t want or didn’t try to map his world. Saying “There are no maps. You can’t map a sense of humour.” Which makes me wonder. Does a complete world map limit your game experience or improve on it?
