Dead Worlds – Ep53

Dead Worlds – Ep53

Telling a gamer that they play in a dead world is like telling these guys disco is dead.

Dungeons and Dragons seems to be the game of lost lands. Meaning that there are worlds that were once very popular but have been abandoned by the people that own the rights to them. Are these worlds really dead? If not, what constitutes a dead world in roleplaying?

We talk about our take on this and some of the game worlds that we’ve played or wished we played that have may or may not have died.

High Magic vs. Low Magic Fantasy – Ep20

Can you get more fantasy awesome than Frazetta?

This week we take a look at fantasy roleplaying and the debate over high magic and low magic. There are many different theories on which is better, but ultimately it is personal preference. We , as a group, tackle this topic with our usual fervor (or lack of) and as always… accomplish little.
