I’ve been listening for ages but never really contacted you guys and gals. You do a great show that’s always entertaining, keep it up. In this episode you mentioned the work of Zak S. and some other OSR projects. I don’t believe I’ve ever hear you mention Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea, it would certainly fit the bill with injecting some Lovecraft into your fantasy. Disclaimer… I wrote a published scenario for the game and will likely be working with the author, Jeff Talanian, in the future. Anyway, there’s a Kickstarter currently running for the second edition of the game. You might dig it.

Looking forward to the next episode!

Very nice, it looks amazing! Eric will have to add it to his fantasy RPG collection.

A note about the natural; the book ends very differently. It is more of an Old Testament tale about hubris and punishment (as he basically raped a women). He strikes out in the end, and is is left in tatters, and possibly in danger of being thrown out of the league for cheating.

Awesome! Eric’s Jesus theory is one of the many surrounding that movie (our only basis for analysis)

I have been working through a book series by Edward Whittemore the Jerusalem Quartet. It is a very weird series as it begins with unearthing an original bible which denies every religious truth ever held and then ends with the largest funeral procession held in Asia since the 13th Century. The events and characters of the book are so surreal they’re silly to write down outside of the book themselves.
